-born Robert Geller came to be known for his work at Cloak, a men’s label he helped revamp with Alexandre Plokhov. He stayed at Cloak from 2002 to 2004, winning the Ecco Domani in 2003 the CFDA/Vogue grant before leaving to work on the launch of his short-lived women’s line, Herald. In 2007, he debuted his men’s wear at New York Week and went on to be named “Best New Menswear Designer” by GQ in 2009 and the CFDA Award winner for Menswear the following year.
